Department
This post will be employed by the Mental Health and Addictions Research Group (MHARG) at the Department of Health Sciences, University of York. You will be based at the University of York to work on an NIHR programme grant evaluating the peer-led Problem Support Mentor Scheme across several prisons in the region. You will be part of a larger team with prison healthcare providers Spectrum Community Health CIC, and the University of Leeds.
The post is part time 0.6fte or 0.5fte, fixed term starting as soon as possible ending 31.03.2027.

Role
You will provide a professional administrative service, carrying out a range of administrative support processes to facilitate the smooth running of research projects within the Mental Health and Addiction Research Group.
Skills, Experience & Qualification needed
* Level 2 qualification including Maths and English (Qualifications at this level include five GCSEs at grade A*-C/ grade 4-9. Please view the full list). We also welcome applicants with equivalent non-UK qualifications or equivalent professional experience
* Experience of working in a varied administrative role, effectively balancing competing priorities
* Ability to work flexibly and accurately, under pressure and to tight deadlines
* Attention to detail and ability to provide accurate information, summaries and notes
* Handle confidential communication; use discretion when communicating with group members
* Ability to monitor income and expenditure against a budget, and maintain accurate records
* Accurately record, analyse, interpret and report information/data
* Use digital technologies including Google applications and/or Microsoft Office
* Communicate effectively in verbal and written formats
* Organise activities and resources
