This role is key to driving business growth by acquiring and developing strategic enterprise-level clients.
You'll be responsible for managing your own pipeline from prospecting and outreach through to deal negotiation and close while building lasting client relationships that deliver measurable results. This is primarily a field-based role attending client meetings across the UK and relevant industry events, with regular attendance at our Newcastle office when not on the road.What you'll be doingProactively drive revenue growth through outbound sales and strategic prospectingManage all stages of the sales journey from identifying leads and conducting discovery calls to closing new businessAttend client meetings, trade shows, and industry events to develop relationships and uncover new opportunitiesDevelop and execute outreach strategies to engage potential enterprise clientsCreate and implement effective sales strategies that achieve and exceed revenue goalsDeliver engaging product demonstrations and articulate how our ecommerce solutions address client needs and challengesMonitor industry trends and competitor activities to refine sales approaches and identify emerging opportunitiesMaintain accurate CRM records, update forecasts, and report progress to the Commercial DirectorWhat you'll bringProven experience in enterprise-level business development or B2B sales essentialA consistent record of achieving or exceeding targets essentialKnowledge and experience working with clients in the retail or ecommerce sector essentialExperience within a SaaS, digital marketing, or technology-led environment desirableEstablished relationships with retailers or enterprise clients desirableWhat's on offer£30,000 basic salary with OTE of £120,000 uncappedCommission earned for the full lifecycle of each client's tenure37 days annual leave per year including bank holidays, Christmas shutdown, and your birthday offEarly finishes 4pm Monday to Thursday and 3pm on FridaysHealthcare cover through Medicash with cashback on healthcare costs and access to an employee assistance programmeRegular team events, awards, and in-office fun daysShoptimised is an equal opportunities employer.
