Teaching Assistant – ASC Support (Morecambe) – Immediate Start

Salary: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Morecambe to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a child with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about making a real difference in a child’s educational journey.
The Role:
* Provide 1:1 support for a child with ASC, helping them access learning and manage transitions throughout the school day.
* Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies and interventions.
* Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes emotional regulation and social development.
* Monitor progress and contribute to regular reviews and planning meetings.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have experience supporting children with ASC or other additional needs (school-based or personal experience considered).
* Be patient, empathetic, and resilient with a genuine passion for supporting children.
* Hold a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
* Be available to start immediately and commit to the role long-term.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
