The children at Dunbury are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated Teaching Assistant who can inspire and motivate them to be the best they can be! They hold the school’s vision “Strength in difference - together we are one, together we fly high” very close to their hearts.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting learning in the classroom under the direction of the class teacher, while also being confident to notice and take the initiative. Support will be targeted for children who need extra help, such as providing sensory and emotional regulation breaks, mainly within the classroom. Training and support will be provided where needed. You will aim to develop pupils’ academic, social, and emotional growth by creating a stable, caring, and supportive learning environment.
This is a permanent part-time position for 20 hours and 45 minutes per week, 39 weeks (including INSET days). Ideally, this role could be combined with the HLTA position.
