Overview

M O’Brien Civil Engineering are seeking a project administrator to play a vital role in a new earthworks project we have won in Norwich. The role will involve providing full administration support to the project team as well as being the main information interface between head office and project office.


Responsibilities

* Collating and filing site paperwork daily from section supervisors. Produce reports from this information where required.
* Produce reports for head office on project progression and performance.
* Liaise with the site ID unit to ensure new members of the workforce receive the appropriate passes.
* Document details and competency of all personnel on site from M O’Brien.
* Report non compliance of supervisors daily paperwork to Site manager.
* General administration to a high standard including ordering supplies, arranging site logistics, typing, copying and filing, from general correspondence through to key project information.
* Establish and maintain a report diary in order to deliver accurate and timely reports related to document control as requested by project and professional teams (e.g. outstanding approvals, unanswered RFIs etc.)
* Office house keeping, ensuring that workspace, meeting rooms etc are kept in a tidy and professional manner. Maintaining proper use of office machinery and calling engineers where necessary.


Requirements / Skills

* Must be able to work both as part of a team and independently where required.
* Have the ability to take accountability for the tasks they are charged with.
* Confident about making decisions within company guidelines.
* Must be able to remain calm when completing time sensitive tasks.
* Document control experience
* PC literate and an intermediate knowledge of Word and Excel
* Methodical approach to duties.
* A high attention to detail and accuracy.
