Senior Adult Social Care Lawyer - West Northamptonshire (Local Authority) Contract role, intially 3-6 months Rate: Negotiable, Indicate rate sought 37 hours per week Location - One Angel Square / Home working - one day in the office when required for Advocacy Attend court, negotiate and conduct your own advocacy Undertake a caseload of Adult Social Care matters. Provide detailed and accurate advice on the Council's responsibilities under the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Health and Social Care Act 2008 and Mental Health Act 1983. Provide legal advice and support across a broad range of areas including Ordinary Residence, safeguarding, provider failure S117 aftercare. Submit applications to the Court of Protection and high Court e.g COP applications for Deputyship, welfare and best interests, DOL, S21a challenges, JR and inherent jurisdiction.
