Part Time Variable Hour Tutor in Art & Design Hours: part-time variable Hourly rate: £25.25 (unqualified)* or £26.38 (qualified)* inclusive of holiday pay. Plus, membership of Teachers’ Pension Scheme. *the base hourly rate is £16.29 (unqualified) / £17.02 (qualified) per hour, plus payment for holiday and preparation and marking time, which gives an approximate hourly rate of £25.25 (unqualified) / £26.38 (qualified) per hour. About the role We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic tutor(s) who can contribute towards outstanding teaching and learning on our Art and Design courses We are seeking a PTVH Tutor to cover teaching hours on level 2 and possibly level 3 courses due to recent tutor appointments within Art and Design. You will work with our established team to plan, deliver, and assess across these courses, to support students to succeed and progress towards their next steps. About the Person We are looking for an inspiring individual who can share their knowledge, expertise, and enthusiasm with our students and an opportunity to progress into a teaching career and qualification You should have a relevant Degree in Art and Design and be able to adapt and deliver a range of different Art and Design materials and techniques at level 2 and level 3. This position will require you to pick up teaching hours mid-term so some teaching experience is essential and knowledge of UAL courses would be advantageous, but guidance will be given.
