We are looking for kind and compassionate candidates with a passion to make a real difference to our teams and the people we support, to join us as a Bank Supervisor at Applethwaite Residential Care Home.
Our Supervisors are responsible for managing and supporting the performance of all members of the team, encouraging and promoting best practice at all times. Additionally, Supervisors are responsible for the administration of medication and ensure compliance with the requirements of the Care Quality Commission (CQC), as well as other regulatory bodies.
Applethwaite Green is based in Windermere with capacity for 27 residents, catering for Dementia, Old Age and Frailty. We are a hard-working and dedicated team, and we strive to ensure our home provides a safe, caring and homely environment for our residents.
Working within our Residential Care Service will typically involve working shifts over 7 days per week, 365 days a year – this will include alternate weekends (as part of a set rota) and Bank Holidays.
Who we are looking for…
It’s important to us that you have the right values and behaviours, engaging and encouraging staff to deliver care in a person-centred and dignified way, with the ability lead by example, set high standards and motivate our teams.
Ideally you will have a QCF level 3 in Care or equivalent qualification, and have some experience of team leadership, although this is not essential. We offer a robust induction, and we will support the successful candidate with any relevant training.
