Job Description
Our client is looking for a dedicated Field Service Engineer to join their team. Your commitment to excellence and effective communication will ensure their customers always receive the highest levels of service. As a Field Service Engineer, you will ensure every task is completed to the highest standards and in a safe manner.
Salary: Up to £39,124 depending on experience + Company Van
Location: Field based around London and the surrounding areas.
Note: You will need to travel to Warrington in Lancashire on occasions for team meetings.
Hours: 42.5 hours per week, between 7:30am and 4:00pm, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
* This is a Field Service role working for the Project Teams.
* The project involves retrofitting the Binlift Compaction Control Upgrade (BCCU) to all existing automatic binlifts in service within the UK.
* You will be responsible for installing these at customer premises and company sites across the UK.
Please only apply if:
* You have a Mechanical qualification, such as Year 3 C&G / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
* You have experience in maintaining and repairing waste management equipment, heavy plant equipment, or heavy goods vehicles (Refuse Collection Vehicles / RCV / HGV / Plant Machinery).
* You can read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
* You are willing to travel regularly to London and surrounding areas in the UK.
* You have a background in customer-facing Field Service roles, delivering exceptional customer service.
Note: This role requires the ability to work safely at heights and on top of vehicles when necessary.
This role may suit individuals with previous titles such as Mobile Service Engineer, Field Service Technician, Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Fitter, Plant Engineer, HGV Technician, Project Engineer, or Vehicle Technician.
