Pharmacy Procurement and Systems Manager

The post-holder will be an experienced certificated technician responsible for managerial, technical, and operational duties within a section of the Pharmacy Department. This includes:
1. Day-to-day management and service delivery of pharmacy medicine procurement for the Trust
2. Management of the pharmacy CMM (formerly JAC) stock control system for Hillingdon
3. Provision of financial data management to support Trust-wide Medicines Management initiatives
4. Ensuring effective functioning of the pharmacy store in compliance with MHRA standards
Duties may be discharged directly or via line-managed staff.

Job responsibilities

Person Specification
* Registration with GPhC as a pharmacy technician.
* Knowledge of pharmaceutical technical procedures, acquired through training, NVQ Pharmacy Services Level 3, BTEC in Pharmaceutical Science, or equivalent.
* CIPS diploma or willingness to study for it.
* Post-qualification NHS pharmacy practice experience, especially in procurement and stock control systems.
* Experience with audits.
* Staff recruitment and selection experience.
* Structured training and CPD in procurement and IT.
* Management and interpersonal skills training.
