My client is looking for an Embedded Software/Systems Test Engineer to join their talented team in helping to deliver high‑performance embedded products through rigorous, thoughtful, and creative test practices.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Develop and execute robust system‑level test plans, procedures, and test cases, grounded in a deep understanding of our products and sensors.
* Perform manual integration, regression, and performance testing across hardware and software components.
* Analyse test data, identify root causes of failures, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement solutions.
* Create and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for efficient, repeatable testing.
* Clearly document test plans, procedures, and results, offering actionable insights to the wider engineering team.
* Lead continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality requirements.
* Work within an Agile development environment, contributing to planning, refinement, and delivery cycles.
What You’ll Bring
* Experience in embedded systems or electronics testing, with hands‑on familiarity working directly with embedded hardware.
* Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and lifecycle management.
* Ability to interpret system‑level requirements and translate them into effective, meaningful test scenarios.
* Proficiency with test automation frameworks and scripting languages.
* Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., SVN) and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
* Experience performing lower‑level board testing and working with embedded devices.
* Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills.
