Job Description:

Join the ‘Greatest Story in Hospitality’ by becoming one of our Conference and Events ‘Hospitality Heroes’ as an Assistant Conference and Banqueting Manager, based at the Celtic Manor Resort - just one of the fantastic opportunities we offer from ‘Manor to Marina’.

OUR IDEAL HERO WILL HAVE:

* A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in high-end conferences and events
* Excellent leadership skills
* A genuine passion for exceeding guest expectations
* Proven experience of managing high-profile events
* Demonstrable conflict resolution and problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments

IMPLEMENTING OUR ‘YES, WE CAN’ PHILOSOPHY, YOU WILL:

* Supervise the day-to-day operation of the Banquet & Conference set up and service
* Inspect the pre-set scheduled function areas/rooms for cleanliness and working condition
* Ensure all team members are groomed and attired to the required standard
* Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities
* Ensure functions are set up, refreshed, and broken down per schedule and departmental procedures
