This is a key technical role focused on enhancing and maintaining legal case management systems, with an emphasis on Partner for Windows (P4W), alongside other platforms such as DPS and Liberate.
You will lead the development of workflows, automation, and system integrations to improve business processes across legal operations. This role involves close collaboration with legal, IT, and compliance stakeholders to ensure technology supports efficient, secure, and scalable service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

* Develop data integrations and transfers using SQL, SSIS, and related toolsets.
* Analyse business requirements and translate them into robust, technical solutions.
* Lead full lifecycle development from requirements gathering through to implementation.
* Produce and maintain system documentation, process diagrams, and technical specifications.
* Provide mentoring to junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
* Deliver operational reports using SSRS, SQL and other reporting platforms.
* Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to identify opportunities for system and workflow improvement.
* Support the wider IT function on infrastructure and security alignment.
Required Experience and Skills:
* Demonstrable experience developing within legal case management systems such as P4W, Visualfiles, Proclaim or similar.
* Proficiency in SQL and database administration.
* Experience with reporting tools such as SSRS and Power BI.
* Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, SQL).
* Understanding of data integrations and ETL processes.
* Strong problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable (Not Essential):
* Experience with .NET Web APIs.
* Knowledge of legal case and matter lifecycle management.
This role is suited to a technically capable, solutions-focused professional who is comfortable leading initiatives and contributing to continuous improvement. You will be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking IT department with a commitment to innovation and quality service delivery.
