It is a highly rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a supportive and exceptionally well-led environment.The RoleAs a Teaching Assistant, you will:Support pupils across the primary age range, both in class and through targeted interventionsWork closely with teachers and pastoral staff to maintain a structured, nurturing learning environmentImplement behaviour support strategies and individual support plansProvide one-to-one and small group supportPromote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement with learningBuild strong, consistent relationships based on trust, clear boundaries, and high expectationsThe Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who:Has experience working with primary-aged children, ideally within behaviour, SEMH, or additional needs settingsRemains calm, confident, and consistent when managing challenging behaviourDemonstrates strong communication and de-escalation skillsIs patient, empathetic, and committed to inclusionShares our high expectations for both behaviour and achievementRelevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant) are desirable, and training in behaviour management approaches is advantageous.
