Job Description
Our client, a leading automotive manufacturing company that specializes in producing high performance vehicles is currently looking for a HV Battery Build Technician. The successful candidate will work closely with a team of skilled engineers and technicians to assemble and test battery packs, ensuring they meet exacting standards for safety, quality, and performance.
The Technician will:
* Maintain detailed records of all battery build activities, including assembly steps, quality checks, and test results.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of battery assembly processes, suggesting enhancements and efficiencies.
* Utilize specialized tools, equipment, and machinery for accurate assembly.
* Identify and address any defects, deviations, or non-conformities.
* Conduct thorough quality checks and inspections to ensure all battery packs meet established standards.
The Technician will have:
* Proven experience in high voltage.
* Experience in assembly, manufacturing, or production roles, preferably in the automotive or electronics industry
* IT Literacy and ability to utilise CAD Viewers & PLM database systems.
* A technical certification in electrical / electronic engineering or related subject is strongly desirable.
* Proficient in using hand and power tools, and comfortable working with delicate components.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
