Duties and Responsibilities
* Processing and posting, coding all supplier invoices in Sage.
* Producing a list of suggested payments for authorisation weekly taking into consideration terms and due dates.
* Reconciliation of supplier accounts and cross checks to supplier statements.
* Accurate allocation of costs across the different departments and sites.
* Assisting the FC with ad-hoc projects to enhance the purchase ledger function.
* Ensuring that all relevant invoices are posted and included for the month end deadline..
* Assisting the Financial Controller with ad-hoc projects when required.
Experience and skills required
* AAT qualified or similar
* Experience of purchase ledger processing
* Nominal Ledger experience
* Sage Intact Experience - Essential
* Good Team Player
* Accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to enhance/review current systems
* Knowledge of utilities - would be advantageous
