Machine borer

The Machine Borer will be responsible for operating and maintaining boring machines to produce precision aircraft components within specified limits. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of machining processes, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Requirements

* To operate all types of boring machines to fine limits.
* To be able to read and understand technical drawings.
* To have an understanding of types of horizontal boring practices.
* To be able to measure in imperial.
* To work in accordance with company procedures -Operations (or Organisational) Handbook / Operations & Health Manual,Component Maintenance Manual andStandard Operating Procedures Manual
* You will be required to maintain Practical Experience Record (PER) book.
* You may be required to train personnel with a specified area subject to your qualifications and experience.
Education and Experience
1. Educated to at least GCSE level or equivalent
2. Machining Background essential.
3. Experience working Knowledge of horizontal boring machines (Desirable).
