DRIVER’S MATE/ PORTER
Temporary Position/ Bank Staff
Location: Southend
Salary: £13.68 per hr (this rate includes holiday pay)
Early Start
Monday to Friday - 8 Hour shift
Saturday and Sunday- 8 hours (If required)
TEMPORARY ONLY
Responsibilities
* Drivers Mate/Porter providing support to the Driver of a Heavy Goods Lorry, delivering into Customers’ homes and Businesses
* Delivery of on average 30 drops.
* Unload deliveries to Customer locations.
* Completing Delivery Paperwork
* Provide excellent Customer Service
* Filling in Safety at Work Forms and Time-sheets
Job Requirements
* Possession of Hi Vis vest, Steel toe cap safety boots and ballistic trousers
* A good understanding of Manual Handling and ability to do any Heavy Lifting required
* Team player who is also capable of working in a team
* Excellent time-management
* Good interpersonal and organizational skills
* Good time-sheets administration
* Ability to follow instructions
