Income Officer Islington Temporary Full Time Summary: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Income Officer to join a Housing Association based in Islington. This is a key role focused on supporting residents to sustain their tenancies while maximising rental income across a diverse portfolio including general needs, leasehold and shared ownership tenures. THE ROLE The Income Officer will be responsible for managing a patch of 850 tenancies, ensuring income collection targets are met and supporting residents with effective arrears management. Key responsibilities include: Delivering a customer-focused, multi-tenure income collection service Managing arrears and credits in line with policy, including home visits and court action Supporting residents affected by welfare reform and maximising their income Completing income and expenditure forms to set up affordable repayment plans Representing the association at court and attending evictions where necessary Referring residents to internal outreach teams and external specialist agencies Collaborating with internal teams and partner agencies to deliver holistic supportTHE CANDIDATE We are looking for a housing professional with proven experience in income recovery within a social housing setting.
