Class 2 HIAB Driver - Builders Merchant Sector

Driver Hire Southampton is actively seeking Class 2 HIAB Drivers to work with our clients in the builders' merchant sector. Whether you're looking for full-time, part-time, or ad-hoc work, we offer flexible opportunities to match your needs.

The Role:
Start time: 7:00am, Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays)
8-10 hour working days
Multidrop deliveries of building materials
Deliveries to residential addresses and construction sites in and around Southampton
Operating a HIAB with brick grab attachment
Completing paperwork accurately
Manual handling and heavy lifting may be involved
What We're Looking For:
UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tacho card
HIAB licence (brick grab)
Ideally 6 months of Class 2 driving experience (newly qualified drivers welcome)
Previous multidrop experience is advantageous
Own transport for commuting
Strong timekeeping, communication, and customer service skills
Ability to follow health and safety procedures
