Make UK are seeking a Senior Recruitment Coordinator to join our friendly team at our Technology Training Centre in Aston. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in helping engineering and manufacturing businesses attract and develop the next generation of talent.
You’ll support companies recruiting apprentices into the sector, oversee day-to-day recruitment activity, and ensure candidates and employers receive an outstanding service throughout the process.
The Role
You will take ownership of apprentice recruitment activity while coordinating the operational delivery of the recruitment team.
* Manage the day-to-day activity of the apprentice recruitment team
* Support engineering and manufacturing companies to recruit new apprenticeship talent
* Manage your own recruitment caseload from vacancy through to offer
* Allocate workload across the team to ensure deadlines and service standards are met
* Coordinate and deliver recruitment events such as open days and assessment centres
* Manage the transfer of successful apprentices to the delivery team for enrolment and timetabling
* Maintain and develop online recruitment systems and databases
* Produce recruitment reports, statistics and marketing materials
* Ensure processes comply with employment law and data protection requirements
About You
We’re looking for someone highly organised with strong coordination skills who thrives in a busy, people-focused environment.
* Experience in an administration, recruitment or education environment
* Experience working in a customer-facing role
* Strong IT skills
* Experience managing or coordinating data and producing reports
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* The ability to prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines
* A proactive approach and the confidence to solve problems independently
