We are looking for a Technical Director to join our building services team.
The purpose of the Technical Director is to: continuously improve the standard of engineering management and delivery, as well as ensuring compliance is managed across the OD portfolio; provide resilience and support to all aspects of HFM activity across the portfolio; protect our clients and our business interests through proactive, prioritised provision of practical, tailored Hard FM Technical support; supporting leads and managers who are delivering HFM Work Winning, Bids, Mobilisations and projects (both live and approaching demobilisation).
You’ll:
* Proactive identification and resolution of technical risks and opportunities in support of leads, assessing and articulating risk and solution in conjunction with project teams.
* Change/Implementation to ensure the Suitably Qualified & Experienced Personnel (SQEP) and training for the right SQEP are within all FM business Teams.
* Structural reviews and operating model change support to FM projects where inherent capacity does not exist beyond BaU.
* Responsible for the training, education, development and mentoring of key engineering staff across building services sector engineering teams, and supporting digital learning as per the BP2024 significant change area.
We are looking for:
* Broad experience of market and HFM positions, and resourcing approach
* Demonstrable experience work winning, mobilisation and HFM contract management.

* Proven ability to understand and prioritise HFM/compliance risk within whole contract /performance/statutory context.
* Engineering Qualification (Minimum Mechanical or Electrical HNC, or equivalent.
