Overview
We are the largest precast manufacturer in the UK and are looking for a Forklift Truck Driver or Yard Support Operator to join our team.
The successful candidate will be tasked with:
* Driving a forklift to clear production lines within the factory
* Loading and unloading trailers in a safe manner
* Maintaining an organised work environment both in the yard and factory
* Maintaining the forklift by performing daily checks and reporting any defects
* Identifying and reporting any non-conformances in manufactured products
* Handling documentation and signing off on deliveries
* Assisting with stock take
* Carrying out any other reasonable request made by the supervisor/manager
* Be a good team player with the ability to use own initiative, and as part of a team
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Good planning and organisation skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Flexible approach to working hours
* Previous experience working in a precast concrete manufacturing environment
* Hold a valid forklift licence
