Duties as the Classic Car Technician:
8. Conduct vehicle diagnostics and repairs with high standards of craftsmanship
9. Perform restorations and refurbishment projects on classic cars as per customer specifications
10. Dismantle, label, and organise vehicle parts and assemblies efficiently
11. Carry out fabrication and welding work, either independently or with guidance, depending on your skill level
12. Assess components and either restore or replace parts to meet quality standards
13. Compile detailed parts lists to aid purchasing and project planning
14. Reassemble vehicles, ensuring all work exceeds customer expectations
15. Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
Requirements of the Classic Car Technician:
16. NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
17. Minimum of 3 years workshop experience in the motor trade
18. Strong interest in classic cars with experience or desire to learn restoration techniques and welding
19. Knowledge of automotive systems, both modern and vintage
20. Willingness to develop fabrication and welding skills
21. Driven, reliable, and motivated to deliver outstanding results
22. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
23. Full and valid UK Driving Licence
24. Patient, methodical, and able to manage projects that can span several months
