Sales Engineer (Material Science) – Derby. £50,000 - £55,000 + Training + Progression + Pension + Bonus + Commission + Company Benefits
Are you a Mechanical Engineer or similar, with sales experience, ideally from Material Science or a related field, ready for a new role within a new subsidiary of an established corporation?
This role offers in-house training to develop skills, sales techniques, and the potential for progression.
Role and Responsibilities
* Account management
* Business sales
* Fixing product defects and breakdowns
* Technical quotation and customer communication
* CRM system maintenance alongside forecasting
* Interdepartmental collaboration and liaison, as well as networking and events as needed
The Person
* Previous experience in a Mechanical and/or Sales Engineer role
* Knowledge of Material Science (preferred)
* Full, valid UK driver's license
* Strong organisational, communicational and analytical skills; computer literate with good phone etiquette
