Job Title: Shift Co-ordinator / Recruitment Expert Location: Petersfield, Hampshire Salary: £25,000 per annum Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Working Hours: flexible daily hours e.g 6am - 2 pm/ 7am - 3 pm/ 8 am - 4 pm About the Role: We are seeking a proactive and organised Shift Co-ordinator / Recruitment Expert to join our dynamic on site team in Petersfield. This hybrid role combines operational shift coordination with hands-on recruitment responsibilities, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and a strong, reliable workforce. Key Responsibilities: Shift Coordination Plan, manage, and adjust daily and weekly shift schedules to meet operational demands. Act as the first point of contact for on site staff, resolving attendance, rota, and shift-related queries. Monitor timekeeping, breaks, and shift compliance. Liaise with team leads and managers to ensure adequate staffing levels across all shifts. Maintain accurate records of shift patterns, absences, and overtime. Recruitment Lead end-to-end recruitment for temporary and permanent on site roles. Write and post job adverts across multiple platforms. Screen CVs, conduct interviews, and manage candidate pipelines. Coordinate on boarding, right-to-work checks, and induction processes. Build strong relationships with local job centres, agencies, and community partners to attract talent. Skills & Experience Required: Previous experience in shift coordination, workforce planning, or recruitment (ideally both). Strong organisational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Confident using scheduling software, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and Microsoft Office. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities. Desirable: Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment (e.g., logistics, manufacturing, or retail). Knowledge of employment law and right-to-work legislation. CIPD or recruitment-related qualification (desirable but not essential).
