Position Summary
The Amazon/Ecommerce Account Manager will report to the Australian Head Office and will be directly responsible for executing the strategic growth plan of ecommerce accounts globally. The Account Manager collaborates closely with Sales, Marketing, and Production to identify and execute all business needs and opportunities to manage the successful execution of all aspects of the ecommerce business. This position will also be responsible for product catalogue data management and managing other business direct .com channels globally.
Strategic Management & Implementation
* Develop and implement strategies to expand the product range or categories in alignment with the company’s overall objectives.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and manage product launch strategies on Amazon/.com
* Proactively manage and optimize listings to increase sales and maximize revenue.
* Work with Marketing on promotional plans and calendars, analyzing details at the item level for profitability, inventory availability, and sell-through.
* Coordinate with Logistics/Production to ensure accurate forecasting and stock availability.
* Ensure an excellent customer journey from online shopping to delivery, emphasizing customer satisfaction.
Vendor Compliance & Relationship Management
* Ensure compliance with Amazon’s rules, regulations, and standards through agency.
* Stay updated with Amazon's policy changes and ensure proper implementation within the team.
* Liaise and negotiate with online partners to ensure optimal terms for product listings.
* Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders on partner platforms and agencies.
* Stay informed about changes to the Amazon platform to leverage growth opportunities.
Amazon Account Management
* Monitor Amazon product catalogue and maintain product health, ensuring correct setup, sales, and condition of shipped items.
* Execute product page maintenance and digital asset management.
* Track and analyze ASIN performance, rankings, ratings, and customer reviews in collaboration with marketing.
* Generate insights from Amazon and marketplace data analytics to inform strategy.
* Review competitor listings to identify best practices, new opportunities, and areas for improvement.
* Identify trends and translate insights into actionable items.
* Analyze sales weekly, prepare reports, and monitor key metrics such as daily run rate, view rate, and conversion rate.
* Assist demand planning with forecasting and adjusting procurement schedules based on demand changes.
* Manage product pricing and ROI reviews on major promotions and initiatives with marketing.
Advertising
* Develop and refine AMS/PPC/DSP strategies to drive profitable growth, ensuring customer acquisition costs align with margins.
* Coordinate with ecommerce partners and agencies to ensure smooth paid efforts with a focus on ROI.
* Manage product inclusion in ads aligned with company focus.
* Analyze advertising methods, generate new ideas, and execute campaigns.
General
* Perform other duties as needed and directed by management.
Minimum Qualifications, Education & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related field preferred.
* Experience with Enterprise-level Vendor/Seller Central is a MUST.
* At least 3 years of experience with the Amazon platform.
* At least 3 years of account management experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Expertise in Amazon's A9 search algorithm and ability to leverage it for visibility and sales.
* Experience with Amazon Vendor Central and Advertising is a plus.
* Familiarity with Amazon FBA and FBM fulfillment methods.
* Knowledge of Amazon's brand registry program.
* Proficiency with analytics tools like Google Analytics, Tableau, Looker Studio, or similar.
* Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel.
* Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Comfort working with internet tools, reports, databases, and multimedia technologies.
* Creative thinking and openness to innovation.
* Meticulous, organized, and excellent communication skills.
* Team player and brand advocate.
* Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset.
