We're working with a high-growth, data-driven SaaS platform in the financial intelligence space that is scaling out a contractor squad to accelerate delivery across core backend and customer-facing systems.
They are looking for a strong Backend-Leaning Fullstack Engineer to join a high-performing product squad and ship end-to-end features in a modern cloud-native environment.
Key Details
Rate: Up to £500 per day
IR35 Status: Outside IR35
Contract Length: 6 months
Location: Hybrid - 2x per month in London
Start Date: ASAP

Tech Stack: Python, TypeScript, React, AWS
The Role
This is a backend-heavy fullstack position where you'll own features from database through to UI.
You'll be working in tight, hands-on squads (4-6 engineers) alongside senior engineers in a fast-moving, product-led environment.
You will:
Design and build scalable Python APIs and backend services
Develop customer-facing features using React and TypeScript
Work within AWS-based infrastructure
Collaborate closely with product and engineering leadership
Contribute to architecture decisions and technical direction
Ship clean, well-tested, production-grade code
What They're Looking For
Strong commercial experience with Python
Solid hands-on experience with React + TypeScript
Experience building and consuming REST APIs
AWS production experience
Strong understanding of relational databases (e.g., Postgres)
Comfortable owning features end-to-end
Able to ramp quickly and operate autonomously
