The Role:
* Contribute to food production under the guidance of the Sous Chef and Head Chef
* Be aware of the day’s reservations and external events affecting business
* Familiarize yourself with the menu and daily specials
* Prepare dishes promptly and to standard
* Ensure presentation quality and minimize wastage
* Maintain high standards of food hygiene and HACCP compliance
* Follow health and safety guidelines and report issues
* Be energy and cost conscious to optimize resources
* Ensure kitchen equipment is operational and report maintenance needs
* Assist in training junior kitchen staff and supervise kitchen operations
