The Governing Body of our school wishes to appoint a Business Manager to work alongside the Head Teacher and the Senior Management Team to ensure effective administration and running of the school.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate the ability to think strategically, prioritise workloads and work well as part of a team. Whilst candidates should preferably have experience of business finance, human resources, premises management and administration in a school, strong candidates who can demonstrate experience of these areas from a non-educational environment will be considered.
Our ideal candidate would:
1. Have a proven track record in business and financial management;
2. Have experience of preparing detailed financial reports;
3. Hold a relevant professional qualification, for example CSBM, or be willing to obtain it;
4. Have knowledge of Health & Safety procedures;
5. Demonstrate excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills;
6. Work well as part of a team;
7. Promote our school’s inclusive ethos;
8. Contribute to the wider life of the school.
