Melksham Christmas Market Stall Worker
£15.00 per hour | Saturday 6th December | 11:00am – approx. 9:30pm

We are recruiting a confident, reliable, and customer-focused individual to run a busy market stall at the Melksham Christmas Lights Switch-On this Saturday, representing an established and premium brand.
You’ll be responsible for the full setup, sales, customer engagement, and pack-down — perfect for someone experienced, proactive, and able to work independently.
What you’ll be doing:
* Collecting stock from Frome using the company van (full UK driving licence required)
* Transporting goods to Melksham and fully setting up the stall (marquee, tables, stock, signage)
* Offering samples and delivering an exceptional customer experience
* Driving sales throughout the day and working towards a set sales target
* Handling cash and taking card payments confidently
* Engaging with multiple customers at once during busy periods
* Packing down and returning stock after the event
What we’re looking for:
* Previous market stall experience (essential)
* Strong sales background with proven success hitting targets
* Confident working solo and taking initiative
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Comfortable being on your feet all day in all weather conditions
* Full UK driving licence and able to drive a company van
Additional Details:
* Paid training session in Frome this week (approx. 1 hour) to learn stall setup and product knowledge
* Further work available throughout December and into 2025
