A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE NIGHT AUDITOR AT THE IMPERIAL HOTEL BLACKPOOL
What you'll be doing...
Reporting to the Operations Manager & Night Duty Manager, you can expect your working shift to include the following:
* Consolidating accounts for the day
* The review of all daily sales transactions of front office and F&B outlets and correctly posting revenue prior to running the night audit
* Maintaining a presence on reception throughout the night dealing with in-house guest requests and the check-in of late arrivals
* Conduct regular reservations checks for future bookings, to ensure correct revenue posting and accurate data capture
* Ensure the safety and security of the Hotel and guests by conducting fire safety/security walks throughout the night
* Occasional housekeeping duties, which will include function rooms, public areas, rest rooms and facilities for the following day
* Occasional F&B support
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
To succeed in the role of Night Auditor, you will need the following qualities and skills:
* An enthusiastic individual, who aspires to be the best and can offer a warm and friendly welcome to all guests to make their visit exceptional
* Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in the food and beverage industry or hospitality sector
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Proficient in computer software, MS Office Suite and F&B management systems
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to changing priorities
