This is your chance to join a pioneering engineering business at the forefront of autonomous off-highway vehicle development. You'll play a key role in supporting R&D, testing, and build activities across advanced electro-mechanical systems.
As a Project Engineer, you'll work across mechanical design, validation testing, and practical build support.
Your responsibilities as a Project Engineer:
Create and update mechanical designs and drawings using SolidWorks and PDM.
Support build activities, supplying assembly drawings and resolving queries.
Plan, coordinate, and execute validation testing, including dyno and field trials.
Run environmental and durability tests, such as climate chamber cycles.
Investigate and resolve reported issues in collaboration with senior engineers.
Maintain and support ISO 9001 audit activities.
Your current experience which will help you as a Project Engineer:
Strong SolidWorks and PDM skills with experience in mechanical design and assembly drawings.
Hands-on engineering mindset with practical build or test experience.
Familiarity with electrical/electronic schematics or electro-mechanical systems.
Confident planning and executing validation or R&D testing programmes.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability in test and build environments.
Flexible, proactive, and comfortable travelling to local test sites.
What you can expect as a Project Engineer:
4 - 6 week fixed term contract (ends 31st December 2025)
Potential for extension, dependant on project.
Rates are dependent on experience.
