At Teaching Personnel, we are currently seeking experienced and enthusiastic HLTAs to join our team of supply staff. Whether you're looking for day-to-day cover, short-term roles, or long-term placements, we can offer assignments to suit your availability and preferences.
About you:
You’ll be confident leading whole-class sessions in the absence of the teacher, delivering planned lessons, and supporting pupils on a one-to-one or small-group basis.
Assignments may vary across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 depending on your experience and school needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering pre-planned lessons to whole classes
* Supporting classroom teachers with planning and assessment
* Leading small group and intervention sessions
* Promoting a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
* Maintaining high standards of behaviour and safeguarding
* Adapting quickly to new school environments and routines
Requirements:
* HLTA qualification (or equivalent Level 4+ teaching assistant qualification)
* Previous experience in a primary school setting
* Confident managing a classroom independently
* Flexible, reliable, and proactive
* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
* Able to provide 2 professional references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
