This vital role involves supervising classes across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, ensuring the continuity of learning during short:term teacher absences. Requirements
* Previous experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting (e.g., youth work, coaching, tutoring).
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* Enhanced Child DBS on the updated service (Willingness for one).

Key Responsibilities
* Manage the classroom environment and supervise pupils during pre:set work.
* Deliver and introduce learning activities provided by the absent teacher across various subjects.
* Implement the schools behaviour policy consistently and professionally to maintain a positive working atmosphere.
* Ensure all students remain on task and focused on the learning objective.
* Respond to student queries and provide support to keep learning flowing.
* Collect completed work and resources at the end of the lesson and return them to the appropriate department.
* Report any serious issues or concerns regarding behaviour or safeguarding immediately to a senior member of staff.
* Maintain accurate registers and records of student attendance.
* Supervise pupils on external activities or trips where required.
* Promote the inclusion of all students, fostering a diverse and supportive learning environment.
