An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) Screening Programme for an Administration Manager to join the AAA Screening Team. The primary purpose of this role is to be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the NHS Tayside & Fife AAA screening programme. The post holder will line manage and oversee the work of the local administration and screening staff, ensuring the smooth running of screening clinics and the collection and handling of clinical and screening data according to specified targets and national protocols.
The post holder will be required to work independently and without day-to-day supervision, and manage their own time, taking into account the needs of the service and national protocols.
You should be educated to degree level or have equivalent professional experience. You will be a well organised, motivated individual with an attitude to support excellent team working and be committed to delivering high quality, safe and effective person-centred care. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with members of the public, as well as internal and external colleagues. You will have staff management experience and possess excellent IT and problem-solving skills. Experience in data management, including analysis and presentation of data in reports is also essential for the post.
You will be required to comply with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland throughout your employment.
