Hours of work: 9 hours per week split between two PA
Rate of pay £14.00
I am a retired, cat loving lady who would like to employ a Personal Assistant to help me at home and in the community.
As a lady with a visual impairment, I will need my PA to help me around the home. This will be assisting me with light domestic tasks, preparing snacks and drinks. I would also like help accessing my garden to carry out some gardening.
My PA will also be required to assist me manage correspondence, read letters and help me arrange appointments and other such things.
I will also want my PA to help me to access my local community and amenities safely. They will help me navigate busy and unfamiliar places.
Applicants should be comfortable around animals as two friendly cats live with me.
Responsibilities

Requirements and Conditions
* Enhanced DBS check will be required; this appointment is subject to an enhanced DBS check.

* Two satisfactory references must be provided if requested.
* Post is subject to a trial period of 1 month and a probationary period of up to 6 months.
* Wages will be paid in arrears on a 4 weekly basis once a valid National Insurance (NI) number has been provided.
* You must be eligible to work in the UK; document checks will be conducted prior to commencement.
* You will receive the appropriate annual leave entitlement and all other statutory entitlements, details of which will be set out in your contract of employment.
* You will be issued with a Personal Assistant Handbook when employment commences.
* You will be expected to undertake any mandatory training identified as relevant to this post; the cost of mandatory training will be met through the direct payment.
* Failure to attend mandatory training may result in withdrawal of the employment offer.
