Description Position Overview: Technip Energies is seeking a dedicated and experienced HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Supervisor to oversee and promote HSE standards on the Net Zero Teesside Power Project. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible working environment across all project activities. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and standards in alignment with project requirements and regulatory compliance. Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly. Promote a strong safety culture among all project personnel through training, toolbox talks, and engagement initiatives. Investigate incidents, near-misses, and safety concerns, ensuring thorough reporting and follow-up to prevent recurrence. Coordinate with project Client, and principal contractor to ensure HSE compliance and best practices are maintained. Lead incident investigations and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for improvement. Ensure all personnel are trained and competent in HSE procedures and emergency response protocols. Monitor environmental impacts and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and project sustainability goals. Maintain accurate HSE documentation, records, and reporting in line with company and regulatory requirements. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HSE performance across the project. Qualifications & Experience: Proven experience as an HSE Supervisor or similar role within the oil & gas, energy, or industrial sectors. Strong knowledge of UK HS & CDM legislation, standards, and best practices. Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Commitment to safety excellence and environmental stewardship.
