Job Summary
South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust seeks a caring, compassionate and highly motivated Clinical Rehab Support Worker to work across both the Nicol Unit and Campion Ward. You will support multidisciplinary teams in delivering high quality patient care and rehabilitation.
Responsibilities
* Provide personal care and support to patients under supervision of registered staff.
* Assist in the preparation and execution of treatments, investigations and procedures.
* Maintain accurate patient records and uphold confidentiality.
* Support patients in mobilising, transferring, and attending to their needs.
* Chaperone and escort patients as required.
* Aid discharge processes and communicate effectively with the team.
* Maintain cleanliness and infection control protocols in the clinical area.
* Support relatives with empathy and maintain team working practices.
* Conduct training and personal development activities as required.
Qualifications & Experience
* GCSE level A–C in English & Maths (or equivalent).
* Minimum NVQ/Diploma Level 2 in healthcare (willing to progress to Level 3).
* Experience delivering care in a healthcare or people‑centred environment.
* Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Evidence of competence in care skills and IT proficiency.
* Strong verbal, written and non‑verbal communication skills.
* Ability to organise, prioritise and carry out tasks autonomously.
* Reliable, compassionate, empathetic and able to work flexible hours.
Desirable
* NVQ/Diploma Level 3 or higher in healthcare.
* Specific specialist skills or tasks.
Personal Qualities
* Team player, caring, dependable.
* Ability to handle emotional and physical demands.
Person Specification
* Pass pre‑employment checks.
* Flexible over a 24‑hour period.
* Capacity for moderate to intense physical effort and concurrent activities.
* Work effectively in an emotionally demanding environment with appropriate support.
