Were fresh into our journey at Brucan Bakery, having opened in August 2025. Were an independent bakery and we take pride in producing everything in-house fresh on the morning of service. Weve attracted a good amount of traffic with our great location and the response has been great. It is clear that the business has a lot of promise and we are looking for an experienced baker to bring our bakes to the next level!
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated baker to join us at an early stage and play a key role in shaping our pastry offering. Were looking for someone with strong technical ability, a great palate, and a genuine passion for high-quality baking.
Youll be responsible for developing and producing a range of pastries, with plenty of scope for creativity and input into menu development. We value consistency, attention to detail, and a hands-on approach, and were keen to work with someone who takes real pride in their craft.
The ideal candidate will:
Have proven experience as a baker/pastry chef in a high-quality bakery or kitchen
Be confident working independently and managing production from start to finish
Have a strong understanding of doughs, lamination, fillings, and baking processes
Be organised, reliable, and comfortable with early starts
Enjoy working in a small, growing team and contributing ideas
