HR Systems Service Desk Advisor at Cambridge Service Alliance

Overview
As the HR Systems Service Desk Advisor, you will join our HR Systems Service Desk team to provide advice and guidance to colleagues across the university, external workers and job applicants. The role includes supporting the Casual Workers system and working with internal and external users of our HR, payroll and recruitment systems.
Responsibilities
* Provide first-line support to users in central HR and payroll teams, faculties and departments, and applicants and referees using our online recruitment system.
* Log calls and handle routine requests (e.g., user account creation and resolving known issues).
* Escalate issues to Service Desk Analysts when required and assist with related tasks as part of the team.
* Support the Casual Workers system and contribute to user guidance and issue resolution across HR systems.
About You
* Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
* An A level education or equivalent experience
* Experience with PC-based software and the ability to handle multiple projects
* Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail
* Experience handling customer problems is essential; experience on an IT service desk is desirable
