Are you a passionate advocate for reading and learning? We're seeking a dynamic Library Assistant to be a vital part of our Academy's Learning Resource Centre!
This isn't just about shelving books—you'll be instrumental in shaping our reading culture and empowering student success.
You Will
* Support the daily running of a welcoming, high-quality library space.
* Ignite a love of reading across the Academy through exciting events, displays, and literacy drives (like our annual World Book Day Festival).
* Be a friendly face and resource expert, helping students and staff find and use the best physical and digital resources.
* Assist with stock management, including issuing and recalling books, cataloguing new resources, and acquiring materials relevant to our curriculum.
* Provide essential administrative support for our Chromebook loan program and general academy reprographics.
* Help facilitate independent study classes, offering support with research and IT-related queries.
