We are seeking a skilled Head Chef/Kitchen Manager to oversee our culinary operations and ensure the smooth running of our kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and excellent leadership abilities.
We are also offering on 40h contract for this role to promote more a work/life balance
Duties
* Supervise kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking
* Manage kitchen operations, including inventory and ordering supplies
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
* Develop and update menus in collaboration with the culinary team
* Train and mentor kitchen staff on culinary techniques
* Oversee food production to maintain quality standards
* Coordinate with bartending staff for efficient service delivery
Skills
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or culinary environment
* Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food production processes
* Understanding of food safety practices and regulations
* Excellent organisational and time management abilities
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
