Job role: Customer Service Specialist
Hours: 09:00am - 17:30pm, Monday to Friday (40 Hours p/w)
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: Circa 30-35K (Neg on experience)
GPS Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Customer Service Specialist based in Milton Keynes. Working for a global luxury goods business, you will act as the focal point of contact for customers via email and telephone, and be responsible for processing orders from the Sales network.
Responsibilities:
1. Point of contact for customer queries via email, telephone, and face-to-face interactions.
2. Answer queries or pass them to the appropriate department.
3. Receive and process orders.
4. Create, amend, and send sales orders through the ecommerce platform to customers.
5. Provide updates to customers regarding their orders from start to finish, especially for event/rush orders, including tracking and follow-up emails.
6. Run regular reports to track orders and provide information to sales representatives and customers about current and future orders.
7. Provide general sales support at an office level.
8. Conduct bi-weekly catch-up calls with Sales Reps.
9. Hold quarterly calls with Key Account customers to discuss needs, updates, and sell-through.
10. Coordinate product launches with Marketing for online retailers and wholesale customers.
11. Organize returns for Wholesale customers, including issuing credit memos.
12. Update daily reports for the EU Warehouse, including order updates and sending embroidery orders to the EU embroiderer.
Desired Skills and Experience:
* Strong computer and technical skills, confident in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint).
* Attention to detail is essential.
* Good time management skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively with all internal departments.
* Professional telephone manner.
* Confidence in speaking to a wide range of customers via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
