Purpose of Position: Develop business and drive increased (recurring) cross-regional revenues through Global and Strategic Regional Key Accounts (i.e. end-users) with Corporate HQ's based in EMEA or with EMEA regional decision making capabilities Responsibilities Researching and selection of potential global accounts worldwide Focus on accounts with potential to provide MSA with additional revenue and meets the criteria of a global account. Research the account to determine viability Create an overall strategy for the specific account. Create a tactical plan for the account(s) for with the manager is responsible. Establish the target company as a global account. Communicate the new strategy to field sales associates and Regional Managers Create dialog with field sales organization regarding potential business opportunities within the account. Assess the business opportunities involving key channel partners. Work with regional, area directors and country managers regarding the selection of a virtual team responsible for account development at the plant level. Communicate the program highlights to virtual team members. Provide training on the GAM database to those team members not familiar with the program elements. Develop relationships with targeted global accounts Focus on the development of key high level personnel within the global account. Make contact with these individuals to assess interest and viability of a global account initiative. Investigate and determine the account's PPE and instrumentation needs from a corporate and worldwide perspective. Be proactive in supporting field activities and communicating information relating to MSA activities for the account's plant locations throughout the world: Build and maintain, or create new relationships with senior level managers in purchasing and safety & health disciplines. Create programs that will provide cost savings for the account. Suggest program ideas to uncover opportunities within the account. Set up visitations with key individuals to discuss programs and update on location issues and MSA involvement at these sites. Draft and negotiate contracts and or partnership agreements that drive and reward conversion and growth to MSA Address day to day activities and concerns of the account through a proactive, measured approach to the development of the account. Provide support to the customer utilizing shared information created among the MSA sales organization. Coordinate and integrate the customer's operations with MSA across international boundaries. Become an expert on the customer's functional business operations and act as a partner in the development of the business opportunity. Lead the effort of customer development through a dotted line responsibility with the MSA international sales organization Develop and maintain MSA field Key Account Teams to establish virtual account team to implement Key Account plan at targeted customer locations Create alignment of key account team contacts and locations with MSA and CP safety specialists. Summarize customized plan, goals and sales support tools for virtual team rollout. Engage ongoing communication to understand questions, obstacles and wins for team communication and end user business reviews. Provide timely update reports to the virtual teams that make up the sales organization for the targeted global account Provide monthly reports and details on account activity for all Key Accounts for which the Key Account Manager has responsibility. Interact with key MSA management personnel regarding the efforts of the program. Overall communication activities Gather information on trends and competitive activity within the account. Communicate the potential for Global Account opportunities to other Global Account Managers and senior management staff. Report trends and competitive activity in the market place that could potentially affect MSA's market share. Qualifications Experience (required): 5 Proven experience and a successful track record of sales and account management experience 1 years account management experience (working with global sales teams) Experience in successfully growing (global) key accounts Ability to navigate large customers and develop strategic relations with key decision makers Excellent communication and negotiation skills Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) Safety equipment experience Experience (preferred): Experience in SaaS & Advanced Analytics products would be desirable Education (required): Bachelor's degree in related field (e.g. business) Education (preferred): Master's degree in related field (e.g. business)
