FINTEC recruit is seeking a Project Engineer for our engineering client based in Aberdeenshire. This is a permanent position working 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Salary is £35,000 to £50,000 depending on experience, plus some great additional benefits, e.g., private medical & dental, critical illness cover, contributory pension, and more. If you have a fabrication/engineering background and enjoy building relationships, this is the ideal role for you, where you will be the key contact for project liaison with company clients and internal stakeholders within engineering and fabrication teams.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensuring that fabrication, vessel, and offshore scopes run smoothly and efficiently; assisting with project documentation preparation and reports.
2. Overseeing planning, interpreting fabrication drawings, monitoring progress, and providing regular updates.
3. Meeting timelines while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
4. Liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams for project success.
5. Identifying and resolving technical issues effectively, maintaining a focus on quality and on-time delivery to meet client expectations.
Skills and Experience required:
1. Proven experience working in fabrication or a manufacturing environment.
2. Ability to read and interpret fabrication and technical drawings.
3. Highly organized in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
