The successful candidate will play a key role within the office, supporting both clients and staff across a varied workload including accounts preparation, taxation, and client management duties. Benefits: Competitive salary depending on experience Flexible working available following probation Supportive and collaborative working environment Opportunity to progress within a growing firm Full-time permanent role, Monday to Friday Wide range of company benefits The Role: Managing your own portfolio of clients Supporting the Bury St Edmunds office with workflow planning and staff organisation Dealing with client queries and ensuring deadlines are met Preparing sole trader, partnership, and limited company accounts Preparing personal and corporate tax computations Reviewing bookkeeping and VAT returns Supporting with ad hoc assignments and projects as required Requirements: ACCA or ICAEW qualified Minimum 5 years’ experience within an accountancy practice Strong knowledge of accounts production and taxation Excellent communication and client management skills Highly organised and methodical approach to work Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team Experience using QuickBooks, Xero, and Dext would be advantageous, although training can be provided
