We are currently looking to recruit a commis chef. Our commis chef will be able to prepare food in at least one section, with support from the senior kitchen team. You will be someone with basic food preparation skills who is knowledgeable about our food and its provenance. A strong desire to learn and strive to reach the next level in the kitchen is essential. You should be able to remain calm under pressure, listen to instructions from senior team members, and demonstrate the skills required for a smooth, hygienic kitchen operation, delivering quality plates at all times.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
* A minimum of 1 year in a similar role or relevant college qualifications
* Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (or working towards)
* Great attention to detail
* Ability to understand a HACCP plan
