We're supporting a UK Defence SME in hiring a Senior Sales Lead to work alongside their pursuit lead, covering B2B & Air complex systems and platforms.
The role involves selling business services and products to large JVs and consortiums supporting programmes across Weapons & complex systems, including primes, OEMs, and SIs, especially in the Air and Space domain.
You will be at the forefront of strategy, networking, and events, building the sales funnel, qualifying new leads, and collaborating with the accounts and business development teams to convert opportunities.
The business: A respected UK SME producing products and services integrated into HQs and CAT A programmes, with multiple UK offices, providing advanced technology to support national security programs.
The role offers a hybrid working model: office in Berkshire, remote work, and travel to events and customer sites. It combines the stability of a Prime with the agility of an SME.
Background:
* Proven experience in business development and opportunity qualification.
* Experience in the Air & Space domain or selling B2B to primes, OEMs, and SIs.
* An action-oriented individual who enjoys strategy and building sales pipelines.
