Crossley Street Surgery is seeking enthusiastic andmotivated clinicians, either Salaried General Practitioners or Advanced NursePractitioners, to join our friendly and forward-thinking team.
The successful postholders will work autonomously withintheir professional scope, delivering high-quality primary medical care to ourregistered population, in line with our PMS contract and NHS best practice.
Sessions are flexible between 4 and 7 per week, with acompetitive salary dependent on experience.
Main duties of the job
Clinical Duties (GPs and ANPs)
* Undertake a range of general practice consultations, including face-to-face, telephone and AccuRx Total Triage
* Undertake home visits as clinically required (supported by the paramedic team)
* Deliver safe, effective, and patient-centred clinical care
* Manage acute presentations and long-term conditions
* Prescribe in line with local and national guidelines (within scope of practice)
* Support patients with health promotion, lifestyle advice and self-care
* Provide family planning and sexual health consultations (as appropriate to role)
* Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records
* Work collaboratively as part of the wider multi-disciplinary team
* Participate in clinical audit, quality improvement and service development
Additional GP Responsibilities
* Participate in duty doctor / clinical triage rotas
* Supervise and support trainees where appropriate
* Contribute to maintaining the practices training practice status
Administrative and Practice Responsibilities
* Process clinical administration in a timely manner, including:
* Referrals
* Results
* Repeat prescription requests
* Participate in MDT meetings and PCN working
* Support achievement of QOF and local contractual targets
* Adhere to practice policies, clinical governance requirements and NHS guidance

Crossley Street Surgery is a progressive, four-partner GP practice serving a semi-rural population of around 12,000 patients from modern, purpose-built premises in Wetherby.
We are a teaching and training practice, hosting GP registrars and FY2 doctors throughout the year.
